Advocate: Write a letter to your government in support of bills that protect children’s rights. Support the Child Soldier Act of 2008, a bill that prohibits the US government from giving military aid to countries that are documented as using child soldiers, with the exception of any country for which the President makes an exemption.

Give: Several organizations are devoted to advocating for children and providing former child soldiers and their families with resources needed to continue to survive.
